A Divine Invitation

by Randy Ferguson, M.A.

Have you ever had the feeling growing up, that there was something quite different about you?  That somehow, you were aware of things that others couldn’t grasp?  At times, you may have even felt your uniqueness was a fault that kept you separate.  You may have judged yourself as weird, weak, inferior or flawed.

If so, I would like to offer a different perspective.  What if the problem wasn’t that there was something wrong with you?  What if the problem was that there was something very right with you…but you lived in a culture that was pretty low on the wisdom curve?  What if, from the beginning, you were connected to a truth in a society that did not have the ears to hear?

As men, we have learned to adapt.  We’ve had to in order to survive.  We’ve learned that strength is shutting down and blasting through.  Winning is all important and accumulating is how we keep score.  Manliness is holding our cards close and playing them shrewdly.

So consider the possibility that each of us has been extended a divine invitation.  We have been invited to look deeper…to trade in the safety of our smallness…for the fulfillment of our purpose…to be the example of extraordinary manhood.

I have a plaque in my office.  It’s a quote by Rumi.  The breezes at dawn have secrets to tell you, don’t go back to sleep.  You must ask for what you truly want, don’t go back. People are going back and forth across the doorsill where the two worlds touch.  The door is round and open, don’t go back.

For 34 years, Randy Ferguson has honed an ability to bring out the very best in his audience.  He has worked one-on-one with over 2,000 clients, assisting them in claiming their highest potential.  He says, I couldn’t be more pumped to present the keynote for Whole Man Expo, especially since the participants and presenters are so hungry for major breakthroughs!
